Liesbeth is an enthusiastic and inspiring project leader. She brings out the best in people and creates original, encompassing ideas. She quickly and efficiently makes the most remarkable connections between different parties in her extensive network.

Liesbeth is the project director for the ‘organically’ developing Marineterrein Amsterdam. She transformed the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam from a sordid quagmire to a metropolitan culture park. Liesbeth studied Dutch and drama, worked as a theatre producer, communications advisor, project manager, and as the director of Westergasfabriek BV. She possesses an extensive network in culture, finance, online, property, and the world of creative professionals.

She is a member of the advisory boards of the Dutch Creative Residency Network (DCR Network) and the Associatie Culturele Marketing en Communicatie (association for culture marketing and communication, ACMC). She is also involved in the ‘Meerhierover’ heritage project and in creative professionals festival Maker Festival Twente.

In her free time, Liesbeth enjoys playing the piano, being a DJ, and managing De Drifft. She is a slow cooking fanatic, and loves outdoor activities.

Maarten has three decades of experience in communication, design, engineering, and architecture. He studied architecture and has worked as an architect, graphic designer, brand manager, interaction designer, communications consultant, and as a brand developer.

In his free time, Maarten is also a singer and songwriter, he enjoys running, shooting, cooking, and is an avid horseman.

Meta transformed a factory in Bucharest into a new place where people get together. She is also an enthusiastic initiator and loves taking on new projects. Meta is co-owner of Eurodite: the Romanian-Dutch agency for European city and regional development projects. She studied architecture in Delft, the Netherlands, and in Chicago, USA, and has worked in New York, the Netherlands, Hungary, and Romania. She has an extensive international network in the worlds of architecture, district development, culture, and heritage.

She is a member of Zeppelin: the Romanian platform for city, society, and technology.

In her free time, Meta enjoys taking the road less travelled, swimming, ocean-sailing, being a mum, being in the thick of it, and taking action.

Joep de Roo

Joep is a driven initiator and the manager of local and international collaborative projects for urban and district (re)development. He is inspired by working with coalitions to exploit opportunities on the European market. He creates overview and structure and brings complex assignments to a successful conclusion.

Joep works on projects relating to cities, districts, and Europe for clients in Southeast Europe and the Netherlands. He witnessed the birth of Eurodite: the Romanian-Dutch agency for European city and regional development projects. Joep studied policy and management in international organizations at the University of Groningen and is a member of Zeppelin: the Romanian platform for city, society, and technology.

In his free time, Joep enjoys running and travelling, and is a devoted dad and wine connoisseur.

Jacqueline has worked for Westergasfabriek, Sanoma, Muziek en Theater Netwerk (music and theatre network which helped performing art organizations with their programming), and Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam (municipal theatre of Amsterdam). She is currently involved in projects relating to heritage, the repurposing of buildings, and positioning districts for clients including BOEI (social enterprise for restoring and repurposing heritage), Nieuw-West borough in Amsterdam, Bureau Monumenten & Archeologie (Amsterdam department for monuments and archaeology), the Westergasfabriek, and Bureau Marineterrein Amsterdam.

In her free time, Jacqueline is a real foodie and gardener, and she enjoys cycling, guerilla knitting, and playing the piano.

He has been the owner of the Amsborgh Group since 2004, which he uses to help projects with a clear cultural purpose such as human biology interactive museum CORPUS ‘journey through the human body,’ and the Westergasfabriek. His corporate finance activities cover a wide range of activities in the property sector, the production and trade companies, and in the world of corporate finance.
