Liesbeth is an enthusiastic and inspiring project leader. She brings out the best in people and creates original, encompassing ideas. She quickly and efficiently makes the most remarkable connections between different parties in her extensive network.
Liesbeth is the project director for the ‘organically’ developing Marineterrein Amsterdam. She transformed the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam from a sordid quagmire to a metropolitan culture park. Liesbeth studied Dutch and drama, worked as a theatre producer, communications advisor, project manager, and as the director of Westergasfabriek BV. She possesses an extensive network in culture, finance, online, property, and the world of creative professionals.
She is a member of the advisory boards of the Dutch Creative Residency Network (DCR Network) and the Associatie Culturele Marketing en Communicatie (association for culture marketing and communication, ACMC). She is also involved in the ‘Meerhierover’ heritage project and in creative professionals festival Maker Festival Twente.
In her free time, Liesbeth enjoys playing the piano, being a DJ, and managing De Drifft. She is a slow cooking fanatic, and loves outdoor activities.
